Photographs of the Brecon Beacons National Park

The Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales can be conveniently divided into four separate sections. To the west is the Black Mountain, separated from the rest of the park by the A4067 road. To the east of the Black Mountain is Fforest Fawr and east of Forest Fawr beyond the A470 trunk road are the Brecon Beacons. Finally to the north east beyond the A40 trunk road lie the Black Mountains.

There is a separate page for each of these regions and my photographs are included on the page relevant to the area in I which took them. Thus a photograph of Pen y Fan taken from the Black Mountain will be found on the Black Mountain page and not the Brecon Beacons page. Most of my photographs were taken on walks, however the last photograph, in the Brecon Beacons second section was not taken by me (but I like it so I have included it). Some of the photographs, taken in the pre digital era, have been scanned in and some are of poor quality. All heights shown are in metres.
